A classic Supertoy from the heyday of Dinky and part of the desirable range of advertising vans made during the period 1950-61.
This ‘Ever Ready’ Guy Van is in all original
condition with a lustrous mid-blue finish and perfect transfers on both sides.
There are four little chips on the roof of the back of the lorry and one little chip at a raised edge on one side. A couple of tiny light scratches besides.
None of the usual chipping at wheel arches, opening rear doors, or on the cab. Tyres are the originals and the spare wheel is present too.
The box is intact and the colours are bright. There are no splits, graffiti or rust at the staples.
Moderate rubbing at edges and especially on the underside of the base. Dinky stamp inside the lid dates this example from 1955.
