Dinky Toys 137 Plymouth Fury Convertible
Plymouth Fury Convertible by Dinky Toys, No. 137. Kingfisher Blue. Very, very near mint/boxed. Scarce in this lightweight EXPORT BOX. From The Wesley Lodge Collection.
Notes
Issued between 1963-66, this impressive Dinky model has a deep kingfisher blue finish, with a complete and intact detachable white top, red interior and black steering wheel.
Intact, original windscreen, suspension on bright shaped spun hubs. Fine tread original tyres look as-new. Model does not appear to have ever been removed from its card inner. Note the original elastic band are still securing the model to the inner. Few tiny dots to the paint finish if you peer at it extra-closely.
These lightweight export boxes are so difficult to find in presentable condition – with original cellophane in place. Couple of splits. Clean, fresh and bright card with minimal wear and traces of the original tape which kept the box closed.
Not an easy find.
