Notes
Rare to come to the market place, this is an authentic example with original red tyres. Always an exciting Corgi toy, this high gloss example comes with both figures of Batman and Robin. It has a bright chrome cockpit and launch tubes. Intact blue tinted glass. Original aerial. With gold tow hook and metal parts. Correct that this version has a fixed (not pulsating) flame. Wheels are correct without the bat logos. Version with shiny chromed centres and red tyres. The original red tyres run well with no flat spots.
Original paint finish has a few marks head-on, and a little paint miss on a rear fin. Minor mark and rubbing besides.
Presented in the scarce slim blue and yellow window box. Note that this is the correct blue and yellow window box version with no mention of ‘Replacement tyres’ and correct with ‘Patent Application..’ on an internal end flap. Other differences too, including ‘The right is reserved to improve and amend specification and colours’. Storage crumple to the vividly-coloured card box. Original cellophane window has tears. Intact and complete white card insert. No Secret Instruction Packet with this example.
An exceptionally difficult model to find.
