Notes
If ever there were a perfect statement piece in your collection, then this would be a very strong contender!
Safely stored away for years and barely touched, this has to be one of the best surviving examples of the magnificent Distler Porsche.
This exquisite battery-operated tinplate model has a flame red finish, grey seating, a grey tonneau and gleaming chrome. All delicate parts intact including the windscreen. Looks completely unused with the original battery still in place in the rear of the vehicle and looking remarkably fresh (untested but it is extremely unlikely that a battery of this age would still function). The little ignition key is still wrapped – we believe it has never been unwrapped, in fact.
Wheels are gleaming bright, tyres are well-shaped, base is unmarked.
Colourfully illustrated card box adds to the appeal of this item. Only the very lightest wear. Note the double battery is shown on the lid – and this is the battery type with the car.
Inside the box is the vivid and complete Brochure/Instruction Leaflet.
A delight from start to finish.
