Corgi Toys 1130 Circus Horse Transporter with Horses

Issued between 1962-70, this item is part of the much-loved Chipperfields range of models. The Bedford TK tractor has a vivid glowing red finish, shaped spun wheels*, clean and complete paper labels throughout and a bright blue back (often they appear a lot paler than this!).

Little marks as a result of opening and closing the hinged doors (hard to imagine how this could be avoided) and marking at some wheel arches. Minor tarnishing to the chrome finish of the roof detail. Small smudge of later paint at the front edge of the cab roof. Notably, both of the wing mirrors are present and complete with the little ‘reflective’ pieces. The item comes with the full complement of six grey horses, with three of them still individually wrapped in the original card packing.
The card plinth is fresh and bright, with both pull-out end tabs firmly in place and tear-free. A little of the expected marking from the model and light grubbiness.
Nice to see that this item still has its large white card packing piece – so often discarded!

The outer box is complete, bright and clean. Crisp feel to the card. Easily overlooked is the little handling tear. Minor age wear besides.
