Notes
One of the most prized Corgi models, we are pleased to offer this example in close to mint condition.
Correctly finished in orange-red with suspension on detailed cast wheels with original highly decorative transfers. Note that this model has the correct horizontal body line on the front wing and patent number (not patent applied) on the base. These details ensure that this model is a Mini Mostest and not a later decorated red Mini Corgi 226.
Not a trace of sunfading on this most decorated Corgi car! Indeed, it has obviously had occasional and careful handling only, since the delicate transfers are so easy to damage. The transfers on both sides, including the ‘MOSTEST’ lettering are virtually perfect. The large roof transfer is very close to perfect, too.
The bonnet transfer is always especially vulnerable to loss in the centre where it covers the central bonnet line. This model has some loss at this site. Quite easy to overlook.
Very close to mint paint finish, with just a few marks to the paint.
