Issued between 1968-74, this 1st issue version contains:
’Zebra-striped Land-Rover with an intact circular ‘LIONS OF LONGLEAT’ label on the bonnet. Open hatch on the cab roof shows the keeper complete with the (usually missing!) rifle. Shiny spun wheels with suspension.
Virtually mint condition.
Also included is the plastic lion’s den, correct with two male lions, one female lion. All of the lions are fixed in place with the little sticky pads applied to the polystyrene plinth and den. Three portions of meat and a red barrel are also still present*. So the full complement of accessories!
The polystyrene plinth is in clean, bright and fresh condition. Original price label on an end flap.
The card box is complete and strongly-coloured with original cellophane in place. Two small cellophane punctures and a tiny nick.
The card is tear-free.
Nice to see that this example comes complete with the original, strongly-coloured, clean and complete detachable header card/retailer card too. Light wear only.
