Notes
Issued between 1964-68, this car is a rare find without a side stripe.
A variation rather than an error, we believe – this most assiduous and observant of collectors has two of these himself and knows of just one other – and they were exported to the US.
An attractive left-hand drive version finished in this deep mid-blue with a red interior and both seated figures inside. Steering control on the roof. ‘L’ plates at front and rear (bright and complete). Suspension on shaped spun wheels.
In very near mint condition.
Instruction Leaflet/Corgi Club Membership Form (multi-lingual) is included.
The box is colourful and complete, with a crisp feel. Note this box has the correct print ‘L.H. Drive’ on both faces. Lightest wear. With period U.S. price label on an end flap.
