Notes
A classic Dinky Supertoy model issued between 1954-60. The horse box has a bright and shining maroon body cast in aluminium. Notably intact “EXPRESS HORSE BOX HIRE SERVICE” letters on both sides. “BRITISH RAILWAYS” labels are complete (couple of tiny surface dots on one label).
Presents well!
20 mph sign is in place on the hinged rear ramp. Barely a mark to the paint finish.
The striped ‘Supertoys’ picture box is clean and bright, with no splits or graffiti. Minor age wear and one of the corner lid seams has a repair. Dinky stamp inside the box lid dates this particular example from December, 1956. Nice deep blue base.
