Surely one of best surviving examples, this glamorous Gift Set does not appear to have ever been opened.
Rare to come to the market place, this is a memorable and attractively packaged 4-piece Gift Set.
Set against a delightful, period card backdrop and enclosed within a card and cellophane presentation box, this spectacular Gift Set issued between 1967-68, comprises:

1) 127 Rolls Royce, in gold, chrome spun wheels. Jewelled lights.
2) 133 Cortina in lemon with spun wheels. Jewelled lights.
3) 151 Vauxhall Victor in lemon with spun wheels. Jewelled lights. Chrome window surround.
4) 171 Austin 1800 in metallic blue with spun wheels. Jewelled lights. Chrome window surround.
Graded very, very near mint/assumed mint.

The card plinth with period car showroom backdrop of ‘MECCA AUTOS’ and city scene with Roxy cinema is clean, fresh and colourful with no apparent wear or colour fading.
The card and cellophane box is especially noteworthy since this set has remained safely tucked away within its buff card over-sleeve with the majority of the past 54 or so years.

Note the original tape which keeps the end flaps shut still in place. Very light wear to this box. Colours are day-one fresh and bright, card is crisp and tear-free, large cellophane window is intact (has become unstuck at one side edge, the glue has dried out over the decades).
So rare to find this good. The buff card over-sleeve has tape and a little wear and edge ruffling in places. Couple of very small tears.
