Notes
This post-war issue Double-Decker Bus has a glossy red, cream and black finish, with complete ‘BOVRIL’ and ‘OVALTINE’ advertisements on both sides, very nearly complete ‘BISTO’ logo transfer at the rear. Front destination board complete. ‘Mitcham’ destination at the rear (near complete) with registration LBL 174.
Working clockwork function. Seating. Shiny wheels. Smooth original black tyres are well-shaped. One has some crazing and one has a part-split. Shiny radiator and headlight assembly generally (minor tarnishing).
Barely a mark to the paint finish.
The card box is notably complete with all end flaps and bright illustrations. A little of the expected age and handling wear, staining and and note there are tape repairs to two end flap seams.
