Notes
From a selection of rare Winross models from this collector. Made in New York back in the mid 1960’s, these are 1:64 scale models mostly of the truck manufacturer, ‘White’ and had promotional advertising at the sides. Winross were the trail blazers in the U.S. for model trucks made specially for company promotion.
This red and silver White truck promotes ’Swift’s Premium’ (meat packer, processors) and presents very well indeed. Bright red cast wheels and well-shaped black treaded tyres. Complete eye-catching transfers on both sides and opening doors at the rear. Well-constructed, 1:64 scale.
Distinctive perspex box comes complete with both white plastic end caps and card base. A little wear.
