Notes
From a selection of rare Winross models from this collector. Made in New York back in the mid-1960’s, these are 1:64 scale models mostly of the truck manufacturer, ‘White’ and had promotional advertising at the sides. Winross were the trail blazers in the U.S. for model trucks made specially for company promotion.
This navy blue & white White truck promotes ‘U.S. Mail’ and presents very well indeed. Navy blue cast wheels and well-shaped black treaded tyres. Complete eye-catching transfers on both sides and opening doors at the rear. Well-constructed, 1:64 scale.
Distinctive card and perspex box has a little wear including crumpling to the perspex and a couple of small splits.
