Fernel/Matchbox Indianapolis Game

Notes

The Swedish export issue game made by Fernel Developments in conjunction with Matchbox Models. This complete set comprises 2 x Regular wheels Matchbox models from 1965:
1) Lotus Formula 1 Racing Car (19D) in green with yellow plastic wheels. Correct that this version for the Fernel Game has a drilled hole, specially adapted for the game. Very near mint.

2) BRM Racing Car (52b).in blue with yellow plastic wheels. Adapted for this game, the model has the requisite hole in the base. Near mint plus with a couple of little marks head-on.

All components for the game are in place on the bright fresh and clean polystyrene tray. Nice to see both dice are still present, playing cards and the little plastic tumblers.
Note that one of the plastic components for the game lacks a tiny post.
Instructions for the game (in Swedish) is printed on the inside of the box lid.

The outer box lid is vibrantly-coloured, with Swedish print alongside an exciting depiction of the two Racing Cars in action.
No repairs to the lid or indeed the box base. Lightest age wear. This set has been carefully handed and stored for the past 56 years and comes direct to QDT from a collector in Sweden.
