Notes

Corgi never made this partnership – but some collector wanted these items together!

Both components are from the Corgi Major range of models and do link together well.
The cab was issued between 1969-72 whilst the trailer was issued between 1971-73.
The red and white detachable Scammell cab is in excellent condition with several little chips at cab roof edge and the usual wear to the paint finish around the coupling stanchion. Jewelled headlights.
The trailer is in even better condition with an attractive silver blue and orange finish with black sliding doors. Barely a mark to the paint – just a little very minor wear to the ‘Trans Continental’ lettering at the sides (most likely due to the movement of the sliding doors). Opening rear doors too!
The large blue and yellow window box is bright and clean, complete with all end flaps (no tears). Original cellophane is split however.
