Notes
The first we have handled in a long while! This Pullmore Car Transporter was made for such a short time with six rivets (usual version has four) during 1953. This example is in all original condition with a light blue cab and chassis, mid-blue wheels, dark fawn decks. Black radiator and bumper. Complete ‘Dinky Toys Delivery Service’ on the sides and at the rear. Usual little marks where metal meets metal, few marks at the top deck. Few little dots/marks besides. Small area of discolouration low down at one cab-side. Still presents well with a pleasing lustre. Deeper blue ridged wheels and well-shaped smooth tyres.
Correct early 582 box is complete with no splits. Minor age/handling wear. A little age/handling wear and remains of a price label on the lid (small area of surface loss at this site). Some rust spotting on the inside of the lid from the staples.
A difficult find!
Also included is the accessory item for this model i.e. the Loading Ramp, no 994. In very close to mint condition, although the slim end flap style box has some wear and repair to the end flaps. Lacks three little internal end flaps.
