Scarce first issue Foden with a red cab and flatbed with black chassis and flash (from 1947-48). This striking Dinky Foden has a vivid day one bright finish throughout; in all original condition with well-shaped herringbone tyres.
Correct that this model has neither tanker slits nor chain post bosses. Earliest version without towhook.
A few chips on this honest Dinky commercial.
Correct early box impresses with intact buff card and bright paper labels. Colour stamp at lid end. Lid has a seam split. Very light wear and rusty staples.
