Notes
This classic early Foden truck has such a fine rich brown finish, with a silver flash and black chassis, black original herringbone tyres. Correct that this early issue has no tow hook.
Presents very well indeed. Issued between 1947-48. Notably, this high profile classic Dinky is in all original condition.
Base is complete with spare wheel affixed.
Occasional little mark to the matt finish.
The early buff box is brightly-coloured and has a faintly stamped ’B for brown on a short lid end. No seam tears or repairs on this early style box. Complete paper label. Minor wear includes a very small tear and rusting to staples.
These early Foden models are becoming increasingly hard to find.
