Issued in 1962 and part of the impressive Tri-ang Spot-On range of models, all precisely to 1:42 scale. This model is in close to perfect condition with a crisp white finish and a bright red interior. Intact original windscreen. Bright chrome. Number-plates are complete at both ends.
Very close inspection finds a little factory retouch on a rear wing (hardly surprising since this is such an unforgiving colour).
The box is complete and strongly-coloured with all end flaps present. Some age/handling wear and a little clear tape has been added at some time to an internal end flap seam to prevent a tear. Initial ‘D’ in light pencil.
Nice to see that the Collector’s Card and promotional slip is included.
