Dinky Toys 29C AEC Regent Double Deck Bus
Double Decker Bus by Dinky Toys, No. 29C. 1946 issue in green & cream. Very scarce. Near mint plus/not individually boxed. From a lifelong collection in Devon.
Notes
Issued without advertisements just post war, this double decker bus is a scarce item.
A 1st type AEC model with ‘V’ shaped grille, cut away wings, no staircase detail inside, black ridged wheels with smooth original intact tyres.
Barely any marks at all – although just a few very small retouches may be found if examined closely.
This early bus would have been issued from a shopkeeper’s trade box of six, so never individually boxed.
