Corgi Toys 224 Bentley Continental Sports
Bentley Continental Sports Saloon by Corgi Toys, No. 224. Unusual GOLD-PLATED bumpers. Near mint plus/boxed. From The Berlin Collection.
Notes
An eye-catching example of this prestige car from Corgi, issued between 1961-65! In gleaming black and silver finish, with jewelled front and rear lights, opening boot with spare wheel, and a perfect intact bonnet emblem.
Unusual to see this model with gold plating to the bumpers ( usually chrome finish).
Suspension on shaped spun wheels.
A few little exposed edge rubs may be seen if scrutinised extra closely. Complete front and rear number-plates).
The pictorial card box is bright and complete, showing minor wear only. No tears. One set of end flaps in particular feels as if they have been opened once or twice.
