Dinky Toys 104 Captain Scarlet's Spectrum Pursuit Vehicle

Stored away for decades, this Gift Set is part of a startling old shop stock find. Many items have never been opened until now, with some outer boxes in a close to pristine state and others showing some signs of storage wear.

This Gerry Anderson model inspired by the t.v. series ‘Captain Scarlet & The Mysterons’ is in all original condition, presenting well.
This version has a fine metallic blue finish, complete with original figure of Captain Scarlet and firing front rocket. Later version with white plastic cover for the door release mechanism on the roof. Later issue paper labels. Note the combination of earlier wheels with concentric circles and later issue 5-stud wheels. Unusual to find both cast and spun wheel types present. Nice example with complete black rubber tracks and aerials. Looks unused (couple of little factory touch-ins).

The brightly-coloured pictorial inner and outer show substantial wear including no internal end flaps at one end.
