This extremely scarce early example has a rough casting. Made during 1956. First one we have had for sale! In very good all original condition with small pin-head sized chips scattered.
Early style sheet metal baseplate with rear axle located underneath, has a small dent.
The powder blue box is complete and sound with vibrant colours. Couple of minor tears. Shopkeeper’s price at an end flap.
A piece of Corgi history – the earliest version of the first Corgi toys model made!
