Notes

A most desirable Corgi set – and not an easy find in this box presentation.
The set comprises:

1) Batmobile in gleaming gloss black finish with both original figures of Batman and Robin. Tow hook version. Whizzwheels.
Gleaming chrome, bright gold parts. Correct that this version has less pointed rear fins and very bright gold parts. Suspension is fine on all four well-shaped original tyres. A light front edge rub and couple of small marks nearby. Minor mark on one side edge.

2) Batboat sits atop the gold trailer with cast wheels. More desirable ‘tin fin’ version (later issues were plastic). Mint condition model, but note the paint loss to the trailer tow ring.

Sprue of yellow missiles(two loose).

Both items sit in a complete polystyrene inner. Clean and fresh-looking, showing minimal handling.
The rare 1973 issue box is correct without header card.

Colourful and complete with original unpunctured cellophane. End flap card tear and a little handling wear. Small flecks of surface loss on the top section where a price label was removed at some time.
