Corgi Toys 202 Morris Cowley
Morris Cowley Saloon by Corgi Toys, No. 202. Near mint plus/boxed. Very pale green & blue. Scarce model from The Pennsylvanian Collection.
Notes
This early Corgi car has a shining all original paint finish in palest green with a blue roof, flat spun wheels. Shiny base and well-shaped original tyres. Issued between 1956-61.
In close to mint condition.
Little chip on a wheel arch and a mere mark or two besides. The base has a circular dab of cream paint. Over the years, we have seen this applied to some models – it leads us to surmise that this was done to identify it as a sales rep. sample, or similar.
Glossy finish. Very bright and shiny smooth hubs. Well-shaped tyres.
The blue and yellow picture box is complete, if rather grubby now. Crisp feel. No tears. Plenty of end flap spring.
