Dinky Toys 176 Austin A105 Saloon
Austin A105 Saloon by Dinky Toys, No. 176. Near mint plus/boxed. Scarce version in deep cream with mid-blue roof and blue flash, spun wheels. Paler yellow picture box ( late issue). From The Fenman Collection.
Notes
It has been a while since we have had this particular version at QDT.
This scarce version has a deep cream finish with a mid blue roof and flash at the sides, spun hubs. Interestingly, the Austin A105 was the first Dinky car to be made with window glazing!
This example is in close to mint condition with a few little marks to the paint finish. Original white tyres are clean with ‘M’ stamped (a little yellowing to two of the tyres).
The paler yellow picture box is bright with a blue colour spot at the end flaps. Crisp, showing very light wear only.
