Notes
Sought after models that are so difficult to find in good condition! Dinky dies were sold to the Indian Firm S. Kumar & Co. trading as Atamco. (1968-70). Often known as Indian-Dinky toys, the finish was poor in comparison.
A pleasing 3.4 LT Jaguar model finished in bright red with original silver details, steering wheel. One-piece wheels and tyres.
Note the early baseplate with Jaguar 3.4 LItre and DINKY TOYS still visible.
Minor roof rub and the occasioanl mark.
Rare box presentation – this plain, end flap box has the correct ‘ATAMCO PRIVATE LTD. CALCUTTA’. ‘JAGUAR 3.4L.T’ stamped too and hand-written ‘RED’ nearby. Period price penned and product number ‘195’.
An extremely unusual early box presentation that has minor wear only.
