Notes
First issue in green and yellow finish, red diecast hubs, green band above the radiator.
Vibrant, day-one bright colours – and most notably, this model has no retouches (it is a sad fact that so many Dinky commercials from this period have been subjected to later retouching, some subtle and some not so subtle).
A refreshing change to see a Dinky Leyland Octopus Wagon in all original condition.
Barely a mark to be seen. Rarely handled, even the tow hook has retained its original paint!
A little marking to the front ‘numberplate’ area and a rub immediately above it.
The striped Supertoys box is bright, clean and complete, looking fresh. Very minor tarnishing to the staples. Light wear. ‘LF’ label still in place (lead-free).
