Sought after models that are so difficult to find in good condition! Dinky dies were sold to the Indian Firm S. Kumar & Co. trading as Atamco. (1968-70). Often known as Indian-Dinky toys, the finish was poor in comparison.
This Jaguar model is in all original condition with a silver finish, black gloss base with ‘Dinky Toys’ still visible. Off-white interior. Shaped spun wheels and tyres.
Gloss black base with DInky Toys and product name and number on base.
Occasional minor mark to the paint finish.
The plain white card box is crisp and complete showing light wear only. Penned product details and correct all-important ‘Atamco Calcutta’ details stamped.
A fascinating piece of Dinky history and well worth incorporating into your collection.
