Notes
Sought-after models that are so difficult to find in good condition! Dinky dies were sold to the Indian Firm S. Kumar & Co. trading as Atamco. (1968-70). Often known as Indian-Dinky toys, the finish was poor in comparison.
This ‘E’ Type Jaguar model is finished in a rich metallic green colour shade with an intact detachable fawn soft top. Original windscreen is complete too.
Early version is particularly sought with shaped spun wheels and well-shaped original tyres.
Shiny base with no reference to the Indian manufacturer. Part-obliterated ‘DINKY TOYS’ so ‘NKY TOYS’. With product detail.
Little mark on the bonnet and a few little marks besides.
The rare early box presentation has the lettering ‘DINKY TOYS’ inked over and period printed label "ATAMCO..’ on the underside. Light handling wear/grubbiness.
Complete, clean and with a crisp feel to the card. Light wear.
