French Dinky Toys Trade Box 24S Simca 8 Sport

A delightful group of French Dinky Simca 8 Sport models contained within a fresh, clean and complete buff Trade box. This shopkeeper’s Trade Box contains the full complement of 6 models as follows:

1) Black with matte red interior, shiny convex wheels and white tyres (grubby but well-shaped). Paint finish has a rather ‘orange-peel’ texture to the finish now. Shiny base. Stray smudge of factory grey on one side. Occasional little mark besides. Thin windscreen frame version. Near mint plus.

2) As above but a shinier gloss black finish, matte red interior. Shiny convex wheels, well-shaped original tyres. Shiny base. Thin windscreen frame version. Near mint plus (couple of contact chips on windscreen side edge).

3) Matte black and red with shiny convex wheels and white smooth tyres ( yellowed now with the occasional light flat spot). Thicker windscreen frame. Shiny base. Very near mint, with a few tiny marks only.

4) As above. Very near mint condition.

5)Gloss mid-grey with matte red seating. Thick windscreen frame. Shiny wheels and minor dulling to base. Couple of light tyre flat spots. Very near mint.

6) AS above although a rather more matte finish. Minor base ‘spidering’ and the smooth white tyres are grubby now with a couple of light flat spots. in very near mint condition.

The Trade Box has been stored well showing light age wear. Repaired tear to lid. French Dinky factory quality control stamp on the inside of the lid. Comes complete with the original dividers.
