Notes
Issued 1948-52, this is a scarce British heavyweight Foden Platform Lorry finished in grey and red, with a red fuel tank. Beautifully constructed, this was part of a small range of diecast constructional models made between 1948-52 by this British manufacturer. This Foden model measures 32cms x 9.5cms. approx.
Complete with spare wheel stowed underneath. Virtually complete delicate ‘Shackleton’ transfer.
Occasional little mark to the paint finish.
Especially difficult to find with its distinctive sturdy colourful card box. More wear to the box underside which has shelf rubbing.
Original key and spanner are included. Also, a set of 9 wooden barrels which are not contemporary but look quite pleasing stowed on the flatbed when on display.
