Corgi Toys 267
Corgi Toys 267 Batmobile. Scarce 1st issue - Matt black version. Very near mint/boxed. With Secret Instruction Packet. A sought-after, iconic model from The Cheshire Collection.
Notes
This early example is in beautiful, very near mint condition. Lovely and unmistakeable silky matt paint finish (few of these have survived, most were gloss finish).
Occasional tiny mark to the paint finish. Suspension is fine on three of the wheels. Nonetheless, the car sits fine and straight. Vivid blue screens, both seated figures of Batman and Robin, bright chrome to launching tubes and cockpit, vivid Bat hubs and Bat logos on both sides. Intact aerial. Pulsating flame, chain cutter and rocket launchers work well.
Card inner is bright and clean with vivid artwork.
Reverse:
Crease and minor wear but no tears.
The Secret Instruction Packet has been opened and inside you will find the full and correct selection of accessories. Note the sprue of fluorescent red missiles has 6 still on the sprue and 6 loose now. Additional ‘Features’ Slip too.
The colourfully illustrated outer box is vivid and complete. Minor age/ handling wear. Period (lightly) pencilled price on a non-picture side.
A scarce Corgi iconic item to add to your collection.
