Notes
Issued in 1960 and part of the impressive Tri-ang Spot-On range of models, all precisely to 1:42 scale. This early Presentation Set comprises the following classic British cars:
1) 100 Ford Zodiac in mid-lilac finish with a cream interior and later one-piece wheels and tyres. In very near mint condition.
2) 101 Armstrong Siddeley Sapphire in lilac and black finish, with a cream interior, light grey base. An especially rare find with one-piece wheels and tyres (split to one). Near mint.
3) 103 Rolls Royce in green and silver finish with a cream interior, red steering wheel and later one-piece wheels and tyres. In very near mint condition. Fine gleaming paint finish, rubbing to one wheel finish.
4) 104 M.G.A. Sports Car an extremely difficult find in cream (not the deeper beige shade) with red seats and a black base. Intact screen. With a sprinkling of chips, so graded excellent.
The set also contains four pieces of roadway (two corners and two straights), and a complete set of seven road signs.
The box base has some water damage and paper edge wear but comes complete with all inserts (a little wear and occasional little tear).
The eye-catching pictorial lid is complete and bright with excellent strong colours. However, there is a tape repair at three of the corners. No parts missing. Wear besides.
