Notes
Issued 1948-52, this is a scarce British heavyweight Foden Platform Lorry finished in green, grey and red, with a red fuel tank. Beautifully constructed, this was part of a small range of diecast constructional models made between 1948-52 by this British manufacturer. This Foden model measures 32cms x 9.5cms. approx.
Complete with spare wheel stowed underneath. Virtually complete delicate ‘Shackleton’ transfer.
Occasional little mark and a little repair has been made to the axle end of one of the front wheels.
Especially difficult to find with its distinctive sturdy colourful card box. With two pieces of original card packing too. A little rusting at staples and light wear.
