Dinky Toys 151
Dinky Toys 151 Triumph 1800 Saloon. Very near mint/boxed, in scarce box with printed '151' in BLACK OVAL on picture faces. Mid-blue issue with blue wheels. From The West Midlands Collection. Starting bid £150. Please note that QDT apply 12.5% buyer's commission.
Notes
Early 151 issue in mid-blue with blue wheels. Small lettering and rails detail on baseplate (1954). Well-shaped smooth original tyres.
Presents well with a pleasing sheen to the paint finish.
Barely a mark to the paint finish and a very small area of rough casting on one side.
The pictorial box is a difficult find – an early variation with the product number printed in a small black oval on the picture faces. Correct colour spot too. Light wear and a small stain.
