A scarce and popular Corgi Gift Set_.
The set comprises:

1) Corgi 321 Mini Cooper ‘S’ in bright red finish with a white roof, jewelled head and spotlights, complete racing number ‘52’ on both sides. Complete Monte Carlo labels on bonnet and boot (save for a tiny dot to the rear label). Shaped spun wheels with suspension. Very near mint.

2) Corgi 322 Rover 2000 in lustrous metallic maroon finish with a white roof, notably complete Monte Carlo labels on bonnet and boot. Complete racing number ‘136’ on both doors, too. Shaped spun wheels with suspension, jewelled headlights and “Trans-O-Lite” lights. Very near mint.

3) Corgi 323 Citroen DS19 in pale blue finish with a white roof. Shaped spun wheels with suspension, jewelled lights, intact aerial on the roof. Complete racing number ‘75’ on both sides, intact rally labels on bonnet and boot. Very near mint.

The colourfully-illustrated detailed card plinth on which each car sits is intact and bright. A decorative backdrop for the models. Original card packing support piece in the base of the plinth. No wheel slot tears.

Light wear includes a few very small stain spots. Lots of relevant printed information:

The pictorial all-card outer box is complete, if rather grubby now, with a little water staining in one small area but no tears! No graffiti either.

A desirable and scarce Corgi Gift Set. Surely, one of the best surviving examples.
