Notes
Issued between 1963-69, this delightful model has a fresh light blue and yellow-cream finish, intact opening light brown plastic door, and detailed deep cream interior with red table top and blue flooring. Gloss baseplate. Fine example in all original condition with shiny spun wheels and a grey plastic jockey wheel. Suspension. As-new fine tread original tyres.
Couple of tiny marks away from mint!
Bright yellow box is complete, fresh and bright. This interim box was actually intended for a Dinky 188 Caravan model. However, this two-tone model was replaced by 117 – this must have been one of the last remaining boxes and a printed label 117 was placed over the original numbering throughout. Crisp, looking like old shop stock. Nice to see that this example comes complete with the original little packing ring which fits over the shiny towing hitch.
