Notes
Sought after models that are so difficult to find in good condition! Dinky dies were sold to the Indian Firm S. Kumar & Co. trading as Atamco. (1968-70). Often known as Indian-Dinky toys, the finish was poor in comparison.
A very near mint example finished in a vibrant non-metallic red shade with black interior, original chrome details, cream steering wheel, brown dashboard. Silver and black plastic one-piece tyres/wheels. More often found in the metallic red shade.
Stunning, virtually mint example.
The colourful correct box (ATAMCO P LTD. Calcutta) is complete, bright and clean. Scarcely any wear – a real find in this condition. Nice to see the original card packing piece included – typically a small piece of box was used for this purpose at the factory!
