Notes
Last issue prior to the two-tone models, this particular example has a distinctive stone (grey-brown) finish with tan ridged wheels, small baseplate print, ‘Morris Oxford’ cast into the underside of the roof. Fine sheen.
Minor marking to the baseplate. Original smooth black tyres run well.
A little as-made paint ‘bubbling’ on the roof.
The lighter yellow pictorial box is a real treat in this condition! Correct colour spot. Crisp, fresh feel.
More often this colour version is found in the dual-numbered box. This is one of the early 159 boxes with single colour models pictured.
