Notes
Issued 1948-52, this is a scarce British heavyweight Foden Platform Lorry finished in vibrant yellow, grey and red. Beautifully constructed, this was part of a small range of diecast constructional models made between 1948-52 by this British manufacturer. Sold with the necessary tools to take apart and rebuild, this Foden model measures 32cms x 9.5cms. approx.
Complete with spare wheel stowed underneath. Clockwork function works. Fine, detailed transfer is virtually complete. Barely a mark to the paint finish.
Especially difficult to find with its distinctive sturdy colourful card box. Some wear as you might expect (rubbing, grubbiness and marking).
Original tools and key.
Some card packing:
8-Ton Dyson Trailer is finished in bright yellow & red with a complete ‘Dyson’ transfer. Little chip at an exposed corner edge. Occasional little mark besides.
