Dinky 140B/156
Dinky 140B/156 Rover 75 Saloon. Cream with CREAM wheels. Scarce. Very near mint/boxed (correct colour spot). Early 156 issue from 1954. From The West Midlands Collection. Starting bid £150. Please note that QDT apply 12.5% buyer's commission.
Notes
An early 156 issue in fine all original condition with a shining rich cream finish, CREAM ridged wheels, and version without Rover cast in to the underside of the roof. Bright base and smooth-running original tyres.
Lightly-tarnished area on the base.
A very close to mint paint finish. Few little casting casting dots on the roof.
The scarce transition box which shows both the early 140B numbering and 156 was issued during 1954. Notably, this example has the correct cream colour spot, too. Light handling wear/grubbiness.
