‘The Modern Petrol WAGGON (sic)’ from this diecast manufacturer. A simply made Truck in deep red and bright turquoise blue tank with complete ‘POOL" lettering. ’Pool’ refers to the shortage of petrol available during and just post-war where petrol companies had to pool their stocks in order to ensure supply.
A few marks to the paint finish mostly confined to the red section. Bare metal one-piece wheels and tyres are free-running. Model measures 13cms x 5.5 cms . approx.
Nice to see this item comes with its original buff card box with red print. Light wear includes a small tear and a little ‘foxing’.
