Corgi Gift Set 15

Notes

A sought-after Gift Set from Corgi issued between 1963-64.
This exciting set comprises the following items:

1) 150s Vanwall Racing Car, one unapplied wheel sticker on sheet. With printed Instruction Slip. Very near mint/boxed. Crisp, with Corgi Club Membership Form.
2) 154 Ferrari Formula 1 with cast wheels and complete transfers. Hard to find with a shiny rollbar like this. Very nice plain card box with labels at end flaps. Very crisp and fresh. With card packing piece too.
3) 152s BRM Racing Car, with unapplied wheel stickers on sheet and printed Instruction Slip. Racing number 1. Very near mint paint finish but note the nick to the Union Jack label, Shiny flat spun wheels with suspension. Colourful and crisp card box.
4) 215s Thunderbird Open Sports, with card packing ring.
5) 304s Mercedes-Benz 300 SL Hardtop. Near mint plus. Near mint plus paint finish (few little roof touch-ins). Crisp bright box (minor wear).
6) 309 Aston Martin DB4 Competition. Near mint plus. Racing Number 1. Complete labels. Couple of tiny touch-ins to the paint. Crisp and fresh box.
7) 417s Land Rover ’Breakdown Service’, very near mint/boxed, with tinplate canopy, bright transfers and suspension on shaped spun wheels. Colourful and crisp card picture box. Corgi Club Membership Form. With card packing piece.

Generally nice boxes but light wear to some.

With original mat.

The large outer box is clean and bright with a complete paper label (vivid). Two very small punctures have pressed back into place and are easily overlooked. Light wear and a small ‘bruise’ to one end flap. Light wear besides.
