Corgi 226
Corgi 226 Morris Mini Minor. Very near mint/boxed. Vibrant Sky blue issue with early issue base, with shaped spun wheels. A scarce find. Crisp box. From The David Frank Collection. Starting bid £125. Please note that QDT apply 12.5% buyer's commission.
Notes
An intense sky blue finish and a bright red interior on this Mini made between 1960-68 in various colour finishes. Suspension on bright shaped spun wheels. Early issue base (with patent number application).
Hard to find a mark to the paint finish but note there are a couple of subtle retouches (you will need a strong magnifying glass, a bright light and determination to find them).
For comparison, please see this model on the left which is a markedly different shade to the more usual lilac blue version.
Presented in a complete and bright box. Very nice with only the most minor wear.
