Corgi 428
Corgi 428 Smith's Mister Softee Ice Cream Van. Near mint plus/boxed. From The Eric Morris Collection.
Notes
Issued between 1963-66, this popular ice cream van has complete detailed transfers (save for one small nick to the background of one transfer) and spring suspension on all four wheels. Fine original tyres. Ice cream vendor will endlessly serve you with an ice cream cone through the sliding hatch at the front, if you turn the little knob on the baseplate.
Little mark to the raised sections on the roof ( as is so often the case) and a little mark at a wheel arch.
A nicely nostalgic item presented in a complete picture box with a crisp feel. Very light wear and a penned scribble on an end flap.. Corgi Club Membership Form.
