Corgi 448
Corgi 448 B.M.C. Mini Police Van with Tracker Dog. DEEP BLUE & SPUN WHEELS issue. Very near mint/boxed, with card packing. Version with colourful backdrop plinth. From The Eric Morris Collection.
Notes
A pleasing example of this popular Corgi model made between 1964-69. In close to mint condition. It contains an Austin Police Mini Van in deepest blue finish with a red detailed interior, shining shaped spun wheels with suspension, aerial, jewelled headlights and complete ‘POLICE’ on both sides. Fine original tyres.
Very close to mint paint finish.
Also included are the original figures of the police dog handler and tracker dog complete with his lead (often missing!). All safely slotted in to the crisp and bright inner plinth with a colourful backdrop. No tears. Virtually pristine.
The outer box is complete and brightly-coloured with a crisp feel. Feels rarely handled. Nevertheless there are a couple of tiny handling tears. Card packing. Period price label.
