Notes

Issued during 1963 with a type 3 Leyland grille, these classic Dinky buses have plastic wheels – not an easy version to find. How wonderful to find four unsold examples still in the shopkeeper’s Trade Box!
Each one presents well with a lustrous original green and cream paint finish, green plastic wheels, treaded tyres. Sloping lettering on both sides.

If one looks at them closely, one will find the occasional little mark – but surely factory marks!
These models come in the correct late issue lighter yellow pictorial boxes. Crisp and vividly-coloured, clean and complete with all end flaps. Correct colour spot for this version. Close to old shop stock quality box, although a couple of the boxes have light age mottling and two have a little end flap tear.
Dinky Trade Box has survived very well indeed. Crisp and clean. Tear-free, Factory date stamp 1962. Note the factory green colour spot to denote contents.

A real pleasure to see unsold shop stock of this calibre.
