Corgi Gift Set 25

Notes

One of the most difficult and sought-after Corgi Gift Sets. This remarkable set is in unused and original condition, with Instructions, mat, paints and paint brush.

Paint case is clean, bright and fresh, with a couple of tiny edge tears to the delicate perspex inner. With original paint brush!
The set comprises:

1) Corgi 224 Bentley Continental Sports Saloon. Very near mint condition with a strikingly lustrous finish and bright chrome parts intact bonnet emblem (of course!). Barely a mark. Box is crisp, bright and clean. Tiny wear only. Corgi Club Membership Form.

2) Corgi 225 Austin Seven. Virtually mint condition. Box is clean, bright and fresh-looking. Crisp. Corgi Club Membership Form.

3) Corgi 229 Chevrolet Corvair. Virtually mint condition. Fine box. Corgi Club Membership Form.

4) Corgi 234 Ford Consul Classic. Virtually mint condition with a (probably) factory assembly mark. Very nice box.vCorgi Club Membership Form.
5) Corgi 419 Ford Zephyr Motorway Patrol. With blue roof light, perfect ‘POLICE’ transfer and straight intact aerial. Very near mint condition. Box is crisp, clean and bright. Complete with packing card. Corgi Club Membership Form.

6) 3 × 601 Batley “Leofric” Garages Kits. Early ‘plain’ card boxes have a little water damage. Bagged with Instructions inside. Super crisp feel to the card.

1 × 602 AA & RAC Telephone Boxes Kit. Bagged with Instructions inside. A little storage wear (scuffs, few flecks of surface loss).

2 × 606 Corgi Lamp Standards. Bagged with Instructions inside. Light storage scuffs.

1 × 608 Shell Filling Station Building. With Instructions. Crisp and clean card box.

1 × 609 Shell Filling Station Forecourt Accessories. Nice box. With Instructions. Nice box.

Instruction Leaflet has some edge nibbling/wear:

Large sturdy outer box is an excellent, brightly-coloured example.

Tiny lower edge wear to the paper label. Some grubbiness, water staining and a small area where a little paper or similar has come into contact with the lid and adhered. Couple of scuffed areas to box base underside. No graffiti.

Finally, we would like again to stress the rarity of this set which is unused and authentic throughout.
A notable addition to any Corgi collection. A very difficult find indeed.
