Notes
A colourful and arresting array of French Dinky Simca 8 Sport models contained within a fresh, clean and intact buff Trade box. This shopkeeper’s Trade Box cotains the full complement of 6 models, all 2nd types as follows:
1) Grey with red interior, convex wheels (rusty) and white tyres (two have flat spots). Paint finish has several little marks. Minor dull spots to base.
2) Black with matt red interior. Shiny convex wheels, well-shaped original tyres (yellowed). Near mint (stray marks of factory red on the underside)
3) Scarce ivory issue – a wonderful and scarce example. Very near mint condition.
4) Black with bright red interior. Very near mint condition.
5) Duck Egg Green, another wonderful and scarce example! In very near mint condition.
6) Duck Egg Green (slightly paler, ‘greener’ shade) in very near mint condition.
The Trade Box is a fine example, showing minimal wear (little pen writing in one small place on the lid, light crease). French Dinky factory quality control stamp on the inside of the lid. Comes complete with the original dividers.
